Willem Prinselaar
Founding and Managing Partner

Mr Prinselaar has had an international career with ICI Plc. C(1967-1993) during which he was heavily involved in a large number of acquisitions and divestments. Upon leaving ICI he created DBM Belgium, specializing in career transition counseling for senior management. During this time he also advised Chase Investment Bank focusing on some major MBI's in the European chemical sector. After selling DBM, he concentrated on the start-up of Privast Capital Partners whilst holding a number of non-executive positions with international companies. He has been educated in the Netherlands and holds an MBA degree from INSEAD (1971).


Guido Stubbe

Founding and Managing Partner

Mr. Stubbe started his carreer at IBM and became Managing Director of Sodexho in Belgium. Upon leaving Sodexho in 1974, he founded and expanded the company Belgorest (active in the catering sector) until it became the market leader. Following the sale of Belgorest, he spent several years in venture capital for new technologies and founded a seed money fund at the Entrepreneurship Center of the Solvay Business School. He holds an MBA degree from INSEAD, an RIA from the University of Montréal, an Economics degree from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and currently holds different Board positions.


Robert Van den broeck

Founding and Managing Partner

Mr. Van den broeck is an non-executive director of companies and has more than 35 years of banking and corporate experience. Mr. Van den broeck has held several senior positions in the past with Exxon, Citibank, Bank Brussels Lambert and the Plouvier & Kreglinger group. Until 1995 he was the Managing Director of Plouvier & Kreglinger (previously Holdifima). Mr. Van den broeck is a commercial engineer, holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics (UFSIA) and an MBA degree from INSEAD. Some of his past directorships include Barco, Bank Indosuez Belgium and Bank Corluy.


Bart Luyten

Partner

Mr. Luyten joined Privast Capital Partners in 1999 as an investment analyst after an extensive training in private equity investing at the >1 bio $ Venture Capital fund ‘Boston Millennia Partners’ in the US. In 2001, Mr. Luyten became Investment Manager and he is currently (since January 2005) active as Partner and Director of the Fund. He holds a degree in Applied Economics from the UFSIA university in Antwerp and a postgraduate Master degree in SME management.
